Avalanche Arts of Minnesota is a community-based non-profit organization focused on promoting arts and culture in Maple Grove, Minnesota and the surrounding northwest suburbs. The organization wishes to invest in the creation of the Maple Grove Performing Arts Center to provide a platform for local community theaters, musicians, and other artists to showcase their work and will offer educational programs for children and adults. The organization will work with local businesses and schools to promote the arts and culture scene in the area. The organization will rely partly on donations from individuals and businesses to fund its programs.
About Us
Avalanche Arts of Minnesota was founded in 2023 by Shane and Danielle Vinup. We believe that art is a powerful tool for bringing people together and creating positive change. Our goal is to foster a love of art in our community.
Shane and Danielle Vinup believe in, and have seen, theater and music allow adults and children to express themselves in a safe environment. Skills learned in theater, music, and art translate into healthier communities- allowing for physical, mental, and emotional stability. These skills also translate quite well into careers, as individuals are better able to present and collaborate effectively in teams and in leadership positions.
